A local effort, the Maui Mutual Aid Fund is run by volunteers looking to get funds and support to residents who have been displaced and vulnerable residents, such as kūpuna (elderly), those with physical disabilities, renters, and individuals without insurance.

Maui United Way is urgently activating its Maui Fire Disaster Relief Fund. Aloha United Way has created the Maui Relief Fund that will go directly to efforts supporting victims of the fires. The aim is to provide immediate financial assistance through grants to nonprofits at the forefront of relief efforts, as well as directly to households that have been deeply affected.
